My name is Jonathan Desrocher, and since 2006 I have been elbow-deep in the developing world of Cloud-Computing, exercising both the software development and infrastructure disciplines of the traditional IT world.

For me, transforming the on-premises Grid Computing and High Performance Computing systems I was working with into the cloud has turned out to be an amazing ride - one which drove me to write this blog and share the lessons I’ve learned (both old and recent) with the exponentially growing cloud community.
